OMH has published the approved HCBS provider list for NYC – nyc-hcbs-provider . The county chart that is included in the PDF reflects the provider’s office from which each application was sent. It does not restrict a provider to operating in only those counties.
The applications were reviewed by a joint agency staff of OMH, OASAS and DOH. There were approximately 2% of the applications that were not granted a designation. The primary reason for rejection was that the application was not consistent with the staffing requirements included in the manual, while there were other applications that were non-responsive to the questions. Providers can re-submit their designation applications. There is no hard deadline at this point, but the sooner the better as network development will begin to occur
