The MCTAC team is excited to announce the release of a new on-line managed care glossary and language guide, available now at http://glossary.mctac.org/.
The on-line glossary and language guide includes our previously released top acronyms “cheat sheet,” which defines the most commonly used acronyms in managed care terminology. The glossary of terms and language guide include the definitions and summaries of not only these top acronyms, but also of numerous terms related to managed care.
The development of this glossary reflects MCTAC’s mission to provide an array of resources to assist providers with the transition to managed care. One of the most common comments we received during the Kickoffs was the need for a central location to refer back to for general information on key terminology and links to learn more about the various topic areas.
