The Office of Mental Health sent out a MRT Pilot Supplement Letter 2014-10-02-120610 today that describes the process for distributing MRT funds when a direct admission occurs to a Supported Housing bed from a State Psychiatric Facility, Adult Home, Nursing Home, or State Correctional Facility. This is a onetime $5,000 enhancement for direct admissions into a NYS-OMH Supported Housing program. A total of $6 million is available for this project for a two year period. OMH is planning on sending out more detailed instructions and reporting forms in the near future.
