Hi everyone – The REST OF THE STATE (outside of NYC) application to become an HCBS waiver services provider is now available. As I’ve said at every opportunity, every provider should apply to be an HCBS waiver services provider. These services will be provided in Supported Housing (SH) and other settings, so if you operate SH, it makes sense for you to be the provider of services for your housing clients. It also opens a new line of business for you, as many people will get these services in many settings. Even if you don’t think you will pursue it, it would be unwise to close the option.

Providers should submit their application by August 10th 2015. Upstate providers that have previously submitted an HCBS application do not need to resubmit their application. OMH/OASAS/DOH anticipate the initial designation process for the rest of the state will be completed in October 2015. Thank you.
