Snapshot of  DSRIP Applications Shows Scope of Proposed Projects

The United Hospital Fund has produced a snapshot, summarizing and highlighting the projects proposed by 25 emerging Performing Provider Systems, the regional collaborations of health care providers that are participating in New York’s Delivery System Reform Incentive Payment (DSRIP) program. Originally submitted to the State on December 22, the applications were made publicly available today.

This brief, which provides an overview of the projects selected by each of the Performing Provider Systems, includes a matrix that allows the easy comparison of all 25 systems and how they propose to tackle health needs in their communities. A key goal of the projects is to reduce avoidable hospital use by 25 percent over five years by transforming the delivery system to better coordinate care and meet the needs of Medicaid beneficiaries in the community.
