The Coalition of Behavioral Health Agencies seeks a Chief Executive Officer to lead its member association of 130 plus members in New York City and the metropolitan area. The successful candidate will demonstrate skills and experience in leadership; collaboration with Board and Member agency staff, organizational development and vision, as well as in facilitating input from stakeholders and allies. The successful candidate will be skilled at community and government relations, policy analysis and advocacy, communications—including public and face-to-face encounters.
The successful candidate preferably should have experience in and knowledge of the nonprofit sector in general and the behavioral health sector in particular; knowledge of New York City and New York State government; and experience in association management.
