The Office of Mental Health will be posting a first phase of Vital Access Provider (VAP) Awards on our website www.omh.ny.gov/omhweb/clinic_restructuring/vap.html on Friday, January 16, 2015. The Phase 1 selections will be based on the assessment of community service need and financial viability for providers that indicated a willingness to participate in mergers, acquisitions or consolidations to ensure the continued operation of these services.
There will be a second phase of awards scheduled for release by January 30, 2015. OMH will include details on the selection criteria for the Phase 1 and 2 awards.
