OMH has adopted as final a proposal that repeals and revises 14 NYCRR Part 524 and amends 14 NYCRR Parts 501 and 550. This regulation implements the provisions of “The Protection of People with Special Needs Act” and reforms to incident management. The rule has been in effect via emergency adoption since September 11, 2015 and was adopted as final today when it was published in the State Register. Minor, non-substantive changes were made to the final rule.
