NYC Adult Behavioral Health Transition Consumer Education Forums

The NYS Department of Health (DOH), Office of Mental Health (OMH), Office of Alcoholism and Substance Abuse Services (OASAS), and NYC Department of Health and Mental Hygiene (DOHMH) are hosting a series of consumer education forums, beginning in NYC, to inform Medicaid members about the upcoming transition of adult behavioral health services into Medicaid managed care. We are encouraging Health Home Care Managers in NYC to inform members on their caseloads who utilize adult mental health and substance use disorder services to attend the forums to learn about the upcoming adult behavioral health services changes that may affect them.

The last two sessions in NYC will take place on Monday October 5th, 2015 at the Office of Alcoholism and Substance Abuse Services (OASAS) NYC Field Office at 501 7th Avenue, 8th Floor, New York, NY from 10:30am-12:30pm OR 2:00pm-4:00pm. The flyer for sessions on October 5, 2015 can be posted and/or distributed to Health Home members.

To register, interested individuals should follow the instructions on the flyer, indicating which session they would like to attend.
