The Assistant Program Manager provides direct supervision to residential staff in collaboration with the Program Manager. This position assists with all aspects of site operations, including monitoring staff compliance, documentation, ensuring adherence to agency policy and procedures, and promoting an environment that supports client goals and recovery.
In compliance with NYS’s Pay Transparency Act, the salary range for this position is listed above. East House considers factors such as (but not limited to) scope and responsibilities of the position, candidate’s work experience, education/training, key skills, internal peer equity, as well as, market and organizational considerations when extending an offer. Responsibilities
- Provide day-to-day supervision, support, and scheduling for Residential Advisors and Peer Support Specialists.
- Monitor daily documentation and shift notes for accuracy and completeness.
- Conduct regular supervision and team meetings.
- Participate in hiring and onboarding of new staff.
- Support and ensure compliance with individual service plans.
- Monitor the physical site, including cleanliness, safety, and necessary maintenance.
- Participate in incident review, response, and follow-up.
- Facilitate group activities that support recovery and independent living.
- Assist clients with activities of daily living as needed.
- Maintain collaborative relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
Other
- Ensures compliance with policies, federal and state regulations.
- Collaborates with the Office of Ethics, Compliance & Quality on identifying and correcting non-compliance.

Working Conditions/Work Environment
