This is an excellent interview with David Rivel, CEO of The Jewish Board in NYC. The backdrop was the Human Services Council report on problems in human services contracting. As you all know, Jewish Board took on all of FEGS OMH programs after it went out of business. David talks about how non-profits are often willing to take government contracts that do not pay the full cost of providing a service and that provide scant resources for administration, which needs more specific skill sets and tools to function in a more modern world. Take a look here.
