The Managed Care Technical Assistance Center (MCTAC) has announced a webinar for NYC Health Home Care Managers, MCOs and Transportation Managers working with the HARP population who may be eligible and receive Non-Medical Transportation, a new Behavioral Health Home and Community Based Service (BH HCBS) available beginning in January to eligible individuals in HARPs and HIV SNPs. MCTAC will host a one-hour state-led webinar and interactive presentation regarding Non-Medical Transportation. The DOH Transportation Unit will present on roles and process, review allowable vs. non-allowable trips, and include time for discussion/Q&A.
This webinar is intended for Health Home Care Managers, Health Plans, Transportation Managers and other stakeholders interested in adult non-medical transportation in New York City. A recording and slides from the webinar will be posted to the MCTAC website following the presentation for those who are unable to attend.
