AMENDED: NYS HCBS Transition Plan available for comment

Hi everyone – States must submit transition plans to the federal government to show how they are, or will become, compliant with the CMS “Final Settings Rule” that sets out standards for settings where HCBS will be delivered.   The goal is to get as many settings as possible approved, because any client living in a non-approved setting will not be eligible for HCBS.

OMH SECTION: You can find the OMH portion of the amended NYS HCBS Transition Plan here.

STATEWIDE PLAN:  You can find the entire amended statewide plan (DOH, OPWDD, OMH, OASAS, OCFS) here

We intend to read through the OMH section and provide comments.  If you want to weigh in, you can do so directly to DOH, or you can send your comments to us and we will incorporate them into our comments.
