Job Title: Project Manager

Hours: 35 hours per week, schedules (in person or in the field)
Office Hours: Office is open from 9:00 am to 5:00 pm, Monday to Friday
Salary: Annualized at $65,000 to $80,000 based on qualifications, with a comprehensive benefits package

Geel Community Services’ Mission:

Role of Project Manager
The Project Manager, PM, is an integral member of the senior management team with responsibilities
in the areas of property and business management, Information Technology, and Corporate
Compliance. Projects may be time limited or on-going as assigned by Executive staff. The PM will
provide weekly/monthly/annual reports on project implementation, identifying goals and strategies
to achieve project success. PM will be supervised by executive staff.

Essential Responsibilities
• Manage mid-complexity, multichannel projects from concept to deployment and then develop
systems to monitor compliance.
• Develop, coordinate and/or administer training staff to ensure their knowledge and ability to
complete assigned tasks.
• Enforce internal procedures and utilize project management tools to ensure timely and
accurate execution.
• Serve as point-of-contact for project-related matters, managing 3rd party vendors and client
relationships
• Effectively communicate project updates and ideas to various audiences
• Own and manage project deliverables for an assigned task, guiding development efforts and
collaborating with cross-functional teams (Funders, Administration, program and property
management).
• Ensure projects are accomplished within established time frames and budgets and in full
compliance with agency policies and procedures.
• Advise on project feasibility, plan resource assignments, and identify potential bottlenecks,
proposing solutions to drive project success
• Maintain accurate and detailed administrative records, supporting agency processes and
workflows

Qualifications and Experience
• Education: A bachelor’s degree with preference for degrees in Business, finance, computer
science, information technology
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and Adobe Acrobat or similar software, with basic
knowledge of project management and financial management tools
• Excellent communication, organizational and information technology skills
• Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment
• Two to three years of proven experience working on project management from inception to
completion

Physical Requirements:
• Must be able to access areas from the basement to the roof in a non-elevator four story
building
• Must be able to travel to different locations utilizing public transportation
