Resident Benefit Entitlement Specialist- Full Time

Job Duties:
• Establish, maintain and monitor assigned residents’ benefits.
• Serve as an advocate/liaison for residents with the Social Security Administration, Department of Social Services, Veteran’s Administration and other applicable benefit sources.
• Monitor Medicaid, Medicare and Private Insurance for assigned residents.
• Maintain Representative Payee Files.
• Complete applicable follow-up on Physician’s Authorizations.
• Provide transportation, as needed, to appointments. Must use own personal vehicle if agency vehicle is unavailable.
• Maintain Work Reports and report all earnings to the appropriate benefit sources monthly.
• Monitor Bank Account balances.
• Prepare monthly Personal Needs Allowance and Money Management Requests.
• Participate in Resident Finance Meetings.
