The New York State Justice Center for the Protection of People with Special Needs is hosting an upcoming training titled “Trauma Stewardship: Strengthening Our Capacity to Help Others” on October 27, 2017 from 8:00am to 1:00pm at Hilbert College in Hamburg, NY (about 20 minutes from Buffalo).
Laura van Dernoot Lipsky of the Trauma Stewardship Institute will offer a compelling mix of personal insight and cutting edge research regarding vicarious trauma/compassion fatigue and will offer tools to help participants regain their focus and purpose.
