These networking events (below) were specifically set up so that providers can better prepare to apply for the VBP Readiness money available so that they can band together into Strategic alliances for the purpose of entering into VBP contracts. NYS promised the federal government that 90% of all Medicaid money would be in VBP contracts by 2021.
Even though a couple of these dates are after the deadline for sending in the Notifications of Interest, these alliances/networks are not expected to be fully formed by that deadline. It is expected that providers will be added after the date. So it is worth going to find out what is going on in your area. – Toni
