ACL 2014 Legislative Day: Review
ACL staff and approximately 250 ACL members came to Albany, representing every region in the state. They attended 120 different legislative appointments to educate the legislature and discuss ACL’s 2014-2015 legislative priorities, including OMH Program Rate Adjustments, and Amendments to the Justice Center Legislation.
Our voices were heard, our legislators were engaged, and many have shown extended interest in our ideas by already requesting additional information and requests for tours of your programs.
We know that it is imperative for us to continue to work with the Governor’s office and the Legislature so that they are all aware of our issues.
On behalf of the entire ACL staff- we thank you all for your continued participation and support of our grass roots lobbying campaigns, and the amazing advocacy efforts that you all engage in, not only on Legislative Day, but year round.
