Unity House of Troy, Inc., a non-profit multi service agency dedicated to enhancing the lives of people in need seeks an Attorney with exceptional interpersonal skills and a demonstrated commitment to social justice. We are looking for a professional with a human services background and experience with family/matrimonial law and other civil legal matters. This position will concentrate on providing trauma focused, holistic legal services to victims of domestic violence and low-income residents of Rensselaer County.

Please make sure: You have been admitted to practice law in New York State and have a minimum of two years of family/matrimonial litigation experience. Other requirements include exceptional organizational and analytical skills, ability to handle multiple matters under pressure and deadlines, strong written and verbal communication skills and commitment to public service. Must have reliable transportation and a current New York State Driver License with an acceptable driving record as determined by our company’s liability insurance policy.
