University at Albany SUNY Offering Non-Profit Seminar

On Friday, March 24, 2017, Rockefeller College of Public Affairs & Policy at the University at Albany, SUNY is holding an event called: Uncertain Times: What Should Nonprofits Be Thinking About?

The political and regulatory climate are changing, and nonprofit leaders feel overwhelmed by the growing list of things to keep on their radar. Which topics or changes should be at the top of that list? They’ve invited a variety of experts from different parts of the sector to share their opinions.

Keynote: Allison Sesso, Human Services Council of New York – HSC
Nonprofit Leader Panel with experts from state government, advocacy groups, and local nonprofits.
Roundtable Discussions on each “top of the list” topic with presenters and UAlbany faculty.

This seminar will be held in Milne Hall, Room 200, at Rockefeller College, 135 Western Avenue in Albany. There will be morning refreshments and opportunities for peer discussion and networking. Please join us at 8:00 a.m. for a light breakfast and networking; the program will run from 8:30 through 12:30 p.m. Parking instructions will be sent to all registrants.

The cost of each seminar is $25.00. If more than one person from your organization registers for a seminar, each additional person will receive a 50% break on the registration fee. In addition to refreshments, networking, and the presentations, the Roundtables are designed to provide each attendee with a number of practical “go to” resources.
