#Spreadhope Campaign Launches from PEOPLe

Press Release: PEOPLe, Inc. announces the Spread Hope Campaign

  • Poughkeepsie, NY.  Friday September 12, 2014:  In conjunction with the 25th Anniversary of Recovery Month, PEOPLe, Inc. announces the #spreadhope campaign.  The #spreadhope campaign aims to promote Recovery as the expectation for those living with a mental health diagnosis, to foster a transition to mental wellness through empowerment and self-determination, and provide visibility for resources that are person centered and self-directed.

“For years our mantra has been, ‘Hope greets you at the door and Recovery is the expectation’.  We want people to be aware of the power of hope and how it is often one of the first steps toward recovery.”  says Steve Miccio, CEO of PEOPLe, Inc.

Starting Friday September 12, 2014, PEOPLe, Inc. invites you to join the #spreadhope campaign by taking one of their HOPE cards with you wherever you are spreading hope, snapping a picture and using #spreadhope, tagging @therosehouserespite on Facebook, or @rose.house on Instagram share the message.  HOPE cards are available at PEOPLe, Inc.  and available for download at rosehouserespite.org.  You can also join the campaign by creating your own sign of HOPE and using the #spreadhope. Pictures will be shared on rosehouserespite.org under #spreadhope.
