Speed Date at the May Management Symposium – Merger possibilities

Hi everyone – At the Management Symposium on May 10th, we will have two sessions on strategic alliances. One will provide a brief overview of possible types with ACL members presenting their experiences, particularly with mergers and the development of IPAs.

But then we will have a follow up session where you can actually have a conversation with others who are considering merging, which will be led by Steve Coe of Community Access with an attorney on hand who will be available to answer questions as they come up.   

I’ve attached a two page article about nonprofit mergers – a good starting point to think about this or start a conversation with your Boards.

Of course, we will have a lot more at the Symposium, including sessions on Managed Care, DSRIP, VBP, Electronic Health Records and RHIOs, Audits, Health Homes, Cyber Insurance, CFR, FIDA, Unemployment Insurance options that save money, and more!
