We are excited to announce the next installment of Value Based Payment (VBP) bootcamps!
VBP bootcamps are a regional learning series created by the Department of Health with the goal to equip VBP contractors and interested parties such as Managed Care Organizations, Providers, Associations, and Community Based Organizations, with the knowledge necessary to implement payment reform.
The VBP bootcamps will be a one-day session held in five regions across the State. The VBP bootcamp is tentatively scheduled for 9:00AM-5:00PM. The same subjects and content will be covered in every region. The bootcamps will consist of breakout sessions and workshops on the following subjects:
- VBP Financing
- VBP Contracting
- VBP and the Social Determinants of Health/Community Based Organizations
- VBP Quality Measures
- VBP for Managed Long Term Care
The schedule and locations for VBP bootcamps are as follows:

**All of the sessions for the Capital Region VBP bootcamp will be webcast live and recorded. The link will be sent out when it becomes available.
Registration for each region will open approximately 3 weeks in advance of the session and close 1 week before the event. The registration link will be sent out to this listserv when it becomes available.
These events are free and open to all interested parties. Space will be limited for each region, and space will be on a first come, first serve basis. We ask that all organizations limit participation to no more than four participants.
As a reminder, VBP bootcamps are being considered the ‘4th semester’ of VBP University. If you attend a VBP bootcamp, and have completed all 3 semester quizzes of VBP University with a passing grade of 80% or higher, you will receive a printed copy of your ‘VBP University diploma’ at the session you attend.
