As a peer support provider, how can you improve services for individuals with mental and/or substance abuse disorders? Join SAMHSA’s Program to Achieve Wellness on Monday, July 24 from 12pm to 1pm ET for Enhancing Personal Capacity for Wellness: An Overview, to get answers to this question and more. This is the first webinar of a four-part series.
Attendees will develop an understanding of the importance of lived experiences and relationship-based roles of peers. Participants will strengthen self-awareness and self-care to sustain empathy and connection. Additionally, the audience will be better equipped to understand peer support through a culturally-responsive and trauma-informed lens. Resources used to develop this webinar series will be available for attendees as a download during the session.
