New Guidance for Distribution – Relief from Justice Center Multiple Reporting Requirement
The Justice Center has issued the attached guidance to all state oversight agencies under the Justice Center’s jurisdiction (OPWDD, OMH, OASAS, OCFS, SED, DOH). This guidance relieves mandated reporters from the need to make multiple reports of reportable incidents to the VPCR in certain circumstances. In order to give everyone time to circulate and publicize this guidance, which will also be posted on the Justice Center’s website, the new protocol will become effective on June 1, 2017.
