No Cost Trainings: Core Concepts of Recovery & Wellness for Adult BH HCBS Providers

OMH and OASAS along with their technical assistance training partners (CPI, NYAPRS, CASA/MCTAC, McSilver/MCTAC) are happy to announce a training series that will include both in person and web-based offerings around the core concepts of recovery and wellness. Topics will include understanding what recovery is and why it is important to provide recovery-oriented services, recovery-oriented relationships and systems, transforming practice, and much more!

The trainings will be delivered by the technical assistance training partners (CPI, NYAPRS, CASA/MCTAC, McSilver/MCTAC) and will be for all New York State Adult Behavioral Health Home and Community Based Services providers.

The first portion of the trainings will be offered in person in 5 locationsand will address Foundations of Recovery and Wellness: the power in recovery-based service provision and how research proves it, how people with a personal lived experience live it, how relationships can nurture it and how your skills can foster it.
