June 18 White Plains Forum on NY Mental Health/Substance Use Ombuds Program

The NYS Council for Community Behavioral Healthcare is co-sponsoring a free training event with Human Development Services of Westchester, Inc. and The Mental Health Association of Westchester about CHAMP, New York’s Mental Health and Substance Use Disorder Ombudsman Program.

Mark your calendars for June 18th, 2:30 pm at the White Plains Library Auditorium, 100 Martine Avenue, White Plains, NY. All are welcome! Continuing education credits are pending for this program.

Come hear about CHAMP (Community Health Access to Addiction and Mental Healthcare Project), New York State’s new mental health and substance use disorder ombudsman program. Learn about how to overcome barriers to mental health and addiction care, including insurance denials, and hear about the important legislative changes that impact access to care.  CHAMP is a free, confidential resource available to all New Yorkers, regardless of insurance or ability to pay.
