Provides overnight awake supervision and monitors the environment for safety and security to individuals in peer run crisis respite program. Supports guests in their recovery process. Provides counseling and support both for in person guests and over the phone to callers on the warm line. Responds to crises and emergencies. Performs regular light housekeeping, inventory, chart audits, and general clerical support.
Candidates must be a past or present consumer of mental health and/or substance use disorder services who can relate to others who are currently using those services. Able to share personal experience and encourage wellness and recovery. High School or equivalent GED/TASC required. Preferred to have some type of peer counselor training or started on peer certification process.
Part-time, 14 hours. Schedule: Sunday and Monday 11:00 PM – 7:00 AM.
