Provides overnight awake supervision and monitors the environment for safety and security to individuals in peer run crisis respite program. Responsible for communicating and consulting with program staff regarding clients’ conditions and functioning. Responds to crises and emergencies. Provides counseling and support. Provides unit support in preparing rosters, schedules, inventory, and other community policies and sign-up sheets. Performs routine facility maintenance tasks and other related tasks as assigned by supervisor.
Candidates must be a past or present consumer of mental health and/or chemical addiction services who can relate to others who are currently using those services. Able to share personal experience and encourage wellness and recovery. High School or equivalent GED/TASC required. Preferred to have some type of peer counselor training from a community agency.
Part-time, 16 hours. Schedule: Friday – Saturday 11:00 PM – 7:00 AM.
Wage and Benefits:
Hourly salary will be determined based on the candidate’s education and experience. This position is only eligible for statutory benefits
