Working under the direction of the Facilities Manager, provides maintenance, repair and improvements to agency facilities and property. Provides scheduled and emergency maintenance, including but not limited to painting, minor plumbing, electrical and carpentry work. Assists in the assessing of facilities and equipment and in the development of a prioritized maintenance plan. May be asked to conduct vehicle inspections and ensure that routine maintenance and/or emergency repairs are completed in a timely manner. Company vehicle and tools provided for use during work hours.

Minimum Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent preferred. At least three years experience in a position with responsibility for maintenance and repair; including painting, carpentry, plumbing and electrical. Certifications in various maintenance areas are preferred. NYS motor vehicle license, safe driving record and availability of vehicle for work are required. Ability to communicate effectively and work cooperatively with culturally diverse staff, clients, and the general public.

Full-time. 35 hours a week. Monday – 9:00 AM – 4:30 PM.
