Provides overnight awake supervision and monitors the environment for safety and security in 14 bed coed residence with adults diagnosed with a serious and persistent mental illness. Responsible for communicating and consulting with program staff regarding clients’ conditions and functioning. Responds to crises and emergencies. Provides counseling and support, including supervision of medication to clients. Provides unit support in preparing rosters, schedules, inventory, and other community policies and sign-up sheets. Performs routine facility maintenance tasks and other related tasks as assigned by supervisor. Program is regulated by NYS OMH.
High school diploma, clean NYS valid driver’s license and safe driving record required. Some relevant paid human service experience and experience working overnight shifts strongly preferred.
Full-time. Schedule: 10:00 PM – 8:00 AM, rotating 2 days on, 2 days off and every other weekend.
