Please join ACL in congratulating Kathy Pandekakes as the new CEO of HDSW!  She really needs no introduction as she’s been very involved with ACL for many years, has been working for at HDSW for over 30 years, and has been deeply interested in MH policy in her time with them!

INTRODUCING KATHY PANDEKAKES, HDSW’s NEW CEO

The Board of Directors of Human Development Services of Westchester is pleased to announce the appointment of Kathy Pandekakes to the position of Chief Executive Officer.

Kathy has worked for HDSW since 1987, and as Chief Operating Officer, has played an integral role in the growth of HDSW from an agency with a budget of $3 million in 1999, to its current budget of nearly $12 million.  Donald Davis, President of the HDSW Board, expressed the Board’s recognition of Kathy’s vast experience and knowledge of the complexities of the current behavioral health environment and her dedication to the care of HDSW’s service recipients.  “Kathy is highly respected by stakeholders statewide, and has supported the mission of caring for the clients under her care with honesty, integrity, intelligence and passion.  She is an excellent choice to provide strong leadership to HDSW into the future.”

“It is an incredible honor to have been chosen to work with the Board and my HDSW colleagues to lead the Organization through this next phase of healthcare service delivery in value-based environments. Kathy is a graduate of Franklin Pierce College and has extensive management and practice experience developing and delivering behavioral healthcare in various community settings.  She serves on numerous statewide committees including the Board of Directors of the Mid-Hudson Regional Planning Consortium, and the Leadership Steering Committee of the Montefiore Hudson Valley Collaborative.
