Upcoming Government and Foundation Grant Opportunities
GOVERNMENT:
February 8 – Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services Accountable Health Communities: This grant is for the purpose of testing whether systematically identifying the health-related social needs of community-dwelling Medicare and Medicaid beneficiaries, and addressing their identified needs impacts those beneficiaries. Letters of intent are due by February 8, 2016.
February 16 – Substance Abuse and Mental Health Services Administration Targeted Capacity Expansion-Peer-to-Peer: The purpose of this program is to expand and enhance service capacity through the provision of peer recovery support services for those individuals with substance use disorders and their family members.
March 8 – Office of Juvenile Justice and Delinquency Prevention National Girls Initiative: This program provides training, technical assistance, and resources to state, tribal, community, and private organizations that serve at-risk and justice system-involved girls.
March 15 – Substance Abuse and Mental Health Services Administration Cooperative Agreements to Benefit Homeless Individuals: The purpose of this program is to increase capacity to provide accessible, comprehensive, integrated, and evidence-based treatment services; permanent supportive housing; peer supports; and other critical services.
FOUNDATION:
February 24 – Home Depot Foundation Housing Needs of Military Veterans: Grants will be awarded to organizations for the construction or repair of single or multifamily permanent supportive housing or transitional housing for veterans and their families.
April 1 – HMSA Foundation Reducing Health Disparities in Hawaii: Grants will be awarded to projects designed to reduce health disparities between Native Hawaiians and other racial/ethnic groups in Hawai‘i, particularly school-based projects, community-based projects, and healthcare setting approaches.
May 5 – William T. Grant Foundation Research Grant to Understand Inequality: Grants will be awarded in support of research focused on ways to reduce disparities in academic, behavioral, social, and economic outcomes for youth.
