Executive Order 202.38 – Extension of Provisions Related to Telehealth and Background Checks

Hi Everyone –

The Governor has extended the regulatory flexibility for telehealth services and background checks until July 6, 2020. Please review the email below from the OMH Public Information Office for more details.

On June 6, 2020, Governor Cuomo issued Executive Order 202.38, which extends telehealth regulatory flexibility for OMH-licensed, funded, and designated programs, as detailed in Executive Order 202.1, until July 6, 2020.

Executive Order 202.38 also extends modifications to the background check process for OMH authorized programs, as detailed in Executive Order 202.13, until July 6, 2020.
