Annual Conference Overview, Essential Superheroes, & Ways You Can Help ACLAIMH

ACL extends a huge thank you to everyone who helped make the 41st Annual ACLAIMH Conference possible. While there is no adequate substitute to being together in person, we hope attendees found the content informative and inspiring. Special thanks to the ACLAIMH Conference Committee, as well as to all of the workshop presenters for their flexibility with the all virtual platform. Make sure to Save the Dates for next year’s conference – November 2-5, 2021!

We wanted to share the Essential Superheroes Awards & Slideshow Presentation with everyone who didn’t have the chance to see it live during the ACLAIMH Conference Awards Ceremony. ACLAIMH awarded the 2020 ACLAIMH Leadership Award to all Essential Superheroes working in ACL Member organizations for adapting to the COVID-19 Pandemic while continuing to provide quality care and keeping clients safe.

You can view the Awards Ceremony here. Please feel free to share these presentations with those who need to know how much they are appreciated and celebrated.

Bring It Home E-Letter Reminder

In case you missed it, The Bring It Home Campaign, which is being led by ACL/ACLAIMH, has once again began an E-Letter Campaign where you can easily send a pre-written email to Governor Cuomo urging him to adequately fund mental health housing in his 2021-2022 Executive State Budget.

Step 1: Click this link – https://www.congressweb.com/ACL/18#/18/
Step 2: Enter your contact & location information.
Step 3: Hit “Send” and/or you can print and then snail mail the letter.

It’s that easy! You can also do this as many times as you want. So please share this with your co-workers, friends, and family!

This #GivingTuesday, consider a donation to ACLAIMH — any amount counts!

We have created a way for you to donate to ACLAIMH to help with our work, which includes our continuing education initiatives, advocacy, and the Bring It Home Campaign.
Former ACL Executive Director Toni Lasicki has created her own crowdfunding page for you to donate to! Use this link to send a donation in her name: https://interland3.donorperfect.net/weblink/weblink.aspx?name=E349754&id=3&cfifid=3

You can also create your own crowdfunding page to share with your family and friends. Just use this link and tap the “Create My Own Fundraiser” and follow the instructions.

We are continuing to work hard to assist our members and advocate on their behalf. ACL would again like to thank all our members’ staff for continuing to provide high-quality essential services during the pandemic.
