ACL Receives van Ameringen Foundation Grant to Continue BIH Campaign

ACL is very pleased to announce that we’ve received a $200,000 grant from the van Ameringen Foundation to continue our work under the Bring It Home banner.

The van Ameringen Foundation emphasizes funding for those individuals and populations with mental health issues having an impoverished background and few opportunities, for whom appropriate intervention would produce positive change.  It is $100,000 per year for the next 2 years – May 2018/2019 and May 2019/2020.

We are so grateful to the foundation’s leaders for recognizing the importance of adequate rates, so that all of you can provide the appropriate interventions that produce the positive changes in people that you work with every day.

We are now strategizing for the coming year, honing the message, setting the calendar, but also meeting with legislators now to get a jump on next year’s budget cycle.  We are asking them for a letter of support as well as suggesting that they meet in their districts with you at your programs.  We will be in touch over the summer and will help set those appointments up if you are interested.

Please join us in thanking the van Ameringen Foundation!
