Please see below for a few short updates about readiness assessments, upcoming events, and the Albany Kickoff live-stream:
1) Over 250 completed provider readiness assessments received Thank you to all who took the time to work through and submit the managed care readiness assessment! If you missed the Friday deadline, we will continue to accept completed readiness assessments on a rolling basis over the next few weeks while we begin to aggregate and analyze the submitted information. The assessments are critical to informing the technical assistance that will be offered in the coming months and are a helpful tool for providers to get a sense for how their readiness compares to others across New York State.
2) 10/6 Albany Kickoff video recording is now available Last week’s kickoff event in Albany welcomed over three hundred in-person attendees and an additional 450 who tuned in online to the live-stream, and the recording from the 10/6 kickoff is now available! 3) Coming soon: details of first content area for managed care readiness We are working hard to finalize a few last details of MCTAC’s first content unit on contracting! Expect registration for November in-person and web-based events to open by the end of next week.
4) Register now for Managed Care events in Binghamton, Buffalo, Syracuse and the North Country Join us in Binghamton, Buffalo, and Syracuse as we conclude the managed care kickoff series across New York State! We’re also excited to share that MCTAC will be traveling to the North Country in early-November for an additional managed care overview and discussion ahead of Northern Tier Providers Coalition Annual Conference (conference registration not required to attend).
